| Originally an indie rock act, Functional (sometimes stylized in all caps) is a Digital Hardcore / Electronic Punk duo that was born out of a combination of the Chicago Punk Scene and the post-pandemic boom in Electronic Experimentation. Comprised of members Silver October (vocals, electronic production) and Rennie Aubrey (vocals, electric bass), the duo takes hints from the likes of Atari Teenage Riot, Machine Girl, Death Grips, Kill Alters, and more. Weaving creatively-grotesque lyrics and full force trademark teenage anger, it's a Duo of Two; (and a nation of a million). |
